Pet Owners: WARNING!! Advantage Multi: Adverse Reaction

Scanners, this happens to be one of our own who has a new RottieX pup. This is heart breaking!!

Yes, the Advantage Multi came from the vet in a puppy package. It is a new drug, patent approved in October 2006. I spoke to my vet about it this morning when I took Braxx in for his Chemo and my vet said he refuses to sell the stuff.

Please, note that Advantage Multi uses the same chemical that was used in the now FDA pulled Pro-Heart6, that chemical being Moxidectin.

Also, Advantage Multi...like Advantage...is made with Imidacloprid, the nasty pesticide associated with destroying the honey bee population.

If you're thinking about using this new product because it is suppose to not only take care of Fleas/Ticks, but also it is a Heartworm preventative...then think again. I wouldn't want your dog or cat to be the next victim.

I have a question, Have you heard of any side effects from using Adantage Multi, the new one? I used it on Lily, gave it to her on Friday and by today (Sunday) she became very ill. We had to rush her to an emergency vet towards Athens. He told us she was having signs of neurological distress. Her heart rate was also very low for a puppy. He gave her a shot to help with whatever reaction it was. I was curious if you knew any thing about this product, or if you have experienced anything like this with your pets.

I have made another appointment with my Vet for tommorrow Tuesday morning at 8:30am for futher check up. She ate finally breakfast this morning without vomiting. She is still having trouble having a bowel movement because of the neurological troubles they said she had. We will do what we can to help her, I just feel so bad becuase I gave it too her, I put it on her thinking it would help her and it made her sick. We all love her so much, Thanks MsRottie for posting this info to share with everyone.
