MARIETTA - A Marietta woman is accused of calling in a bomb threat at her residence and setting her condominium on fire. Linda Sanders was arrested Monday and placed in Cobb County Jail.
According to her arrest warrant, Sanders, at 10:09 p.m. Feb. 11, called 911 and reported a bomb at her 736 Somerset Court residence, inside the Covered Bridge condominium complex near Powers Ferry Road.
"She reported her address and stated, 'to send everything you have. There is a bomb about to go off,'" according to the warrant.
Marietta police responded to find an active fire inside the condo. They began evacuating seven residents from the three neighboring units.
"While evacuating other residents, they encountered the resident of 736 exiting her unit wearing a long fur coat, clear safety glasses, a scarf around her head, decorative fake flower wreath on top of her head, and a three foot metal pipe with soot on one end," according to the warrant. "No reason for the fire could be found other than that an intentional human act occurred. She also stated three children were inside the building, but no other people were found by fire fighting crews."
No bomb was found either.
The fire was contained to Sanders' unit. None of the evacuated residents were injured; however, officials said a family member took Sanders to Peachford Hospital, a mental health and chemical dependency treatment facility in northeastern Atlanta near Dunwoody. Officials did not release the extent of her injuries or her condition. She was arrested at the hospital, according to her book-in sheet.
Sanders is charged with arson and false public alarm.

What an idiot. At least her setting fire to her place didn't hurt or kill anyone. _________________ Dispatchers Wanted!
