Okay, I'll contribute. You have to wonder sometimes...
OCTOBER 13, 2011
Man agrees to deal over fake breast exams
FORT LAUDERDALE — South Florida prosecutors say they've reached a deal with man they say posed as a doctor and offered free door-to-door breast exams.
The South Florida Sun Sentinel reports that Broward County prosecutors told a judge about the deal Tuesday, but scheduling conflicts prevented the judge from approving the deal. No date for a new hearing was set.
Authorities say 81-year-old Phillip Winikoff offered the exams at a Lauderdale Lakes apartment complex in April 2006. Authorities say he managed to assault two women before he was arrested.
Details of the deal weren't immediately available. If tried and convicted, he could have been sentenced to more than 45 years for sexual battery and 10 years for practicing medicine without a license.
A telephone message left with Winikoff's attorney wasn't immediately returned. _________________ There are two educations. One should teach us how to make a living and the other how to live.

http://www.wptv.com/dpp/news/state/school-fails-spelling-test:-misspelled-sign-near-a-lauderhill-elementary-school-upsets-parents
LAUDERHILL, Fla. - Some parents are upset after noticing a misspelled sign near an elementary school at the corner of 50th Street and Pine Island Road in Lauderhill, reports WPLG-CH. 10.
The sign reads "SCOHOL" instead of "SCHOOL." And according to WPLG-CH. 10, one parent said the sign is a bad lesson for all kids.
A parent told WPLG-CH. 10, “It's a shame...kids need better than this!"
The station reports that Broward County paid out good money for the incorrect letters. But so far, no comment has been issued from the county.

Threesome Gone Wrong
| Quote: | | Jorge Daniel Silva was about to live a straight guy's fantasy: his wife had agreed to let another woman into the bedroom mix for a threesome. But when the trio started kissing, something about the situation made Silva freak out. He then arranged a violent threesome between his wife and two television sets, police say. |

The best part of the article...
It's unclear whether "Poem of dead tree" is an original composition or a published work by an established poet. It couldn't immediately be determined whether it's a haiku, sonnet, ode, couplet, ballad, epic or limerick or whether iambic pentameter is involved. |

that was an interesting part of the article.
i wonder if the Officer was having trouble following the words around due possibly to poor lighting, or if it was difficult to focus? anyways, hope they can get out of all of this with just a small fine or a smack on the wrist. |
